I know that you may have already seen many of these, but I needed a laugh today ;)

The Times Square bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad has supposedly told the authorities that he was upset over U.S. drone attacks in Pakistan, especially a drone attack while he was in the country. This looks to be a possible motive and Pakistani officials have said that Faisal Shahzad was introduced to Qari Hussain, number 3 in the top tier leadership of the Pakistani Taliban on his last trip to Pakistan. Hussain is said to be a master homicide bomb trainer in North Waziristan. Shahzad comes from a wealthy and educated family, and their neighbors in a town, north west of Pakistan say his family is well respected with no connections to militants. It was also reported that many letters were found at his residence in Connecticut that were to and from his family. Letters and Cards that were very loving and affectionate.

So what was going on in Shahzad's mind? Why did he want to kill Americans? Does he hate America?

Keep with me... I will tie all this together at the end.

For the past few days I've been putting together some thoughts about Mr. Obama's upbringing to write a blog post about. Then tonight I came across this information about Faisal Shahzad and my brain went crazy. This handsome looking young man with two kids a wife and a loving family has been brainwashed to feel contempt for Americans and now will spend the rest of his life in jail.

And just in case you were in some cryogenic chamber over the last few years, here is a summary of Mr. Obama's early years:

Ann Dunham the mother of Barack Obama attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she studied anthropology. It is believed that she was a radical leftist and practitioner of "critical theory". She met Barack Obama, Sr. in her college Russian language class. Barack Obama, Jr. was born August 4, 1961. Barack Obama, Sr. left Dunham and their son in 1963 to attend Harvard in Boston. Obama Sr. obtained a masters degree in economics at Harvard and returned to Kenya in 1965 where he held a position in the Kenyan government. He was later killed in an automobile accident in 1982. When Barack Obama Jr. was five, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian oil manager and practicing Muslim whom she also met in college. In 1967 they moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. While in Indonesia Dunham got a job at the American embassy teaching English. Barack's half-sister, Maya Soetoro was born during this time and Obama Jr. attended one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools. After about five years, Dunham, Obama Jr. and his sister Maya moved back to Hawaii. But then Dunham left again with Maya and they traveled around the world, while she was pursuing a career in rural development that took her to her Ghana, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh. During this time Barack Obama Jr. was being raised by his grandmother and became acquainted with Frank Marshall Davis. Who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). He developed a close relationship with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path.

Lets not forget about Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who was Barack Obama's pastor for 20 years, and was the person that married the Obamas and baptized their children.

Whew... that's quite an early life and of course this is only a very brief summary. So who do we really have running this country? It seems that Mr. Obama has been surrounded by radical people and radical teachings all of his life. His biological father left him, his mother left him, and he was putty in the hands of people that preached communism and radical Islam. He sat in a church listening to sermons with quotes that I've pointed out above and he has broken bread with a self proclaimed domestic terrorist. I'm not saying that Mr. Obama is a terrorist, I'm trying to point out that if you are surrounded by radicals, Communists, Marxists, terrorists, and people that hate America, then some of that will probably rub off on you. I feel that Faisal Shahzad probably became acquainted with the wrong people, that hated America, and spoke of Jihad, and they brainwashed this young man.

Most people that I associate with on a daily basis are not aware of this information about Barack Obama or they just don't care. I don't think he will be parking a Nissan Pathfinder full of explosives in Times Square, because he is too smart. But I do have major reservations about him running this country.

I've seen this little story all over the place and although it's fairly clever, it also is trying to depict Conservatives as being hypocritical by using Socialist programs and then bitching about Socialism.

Below I've changed this story to depict something a little different.  This is actually a representation of a typical day that I would have.  This is NOT fiction, this would actually be one of my normal days, and I challenge anyone to say otherwise.

I wake up in the morning not from an electronic alarm clock, but a biological clock in my bladder, which was given to me by God.  I turn on the lights that receive electricity from my Rural Electric Coop.  I take a shower using the water from my well on my property, and get blasted by whatever contaminants are there today, and I love every second of it.  And it’s because of those contaminants that my immune system will kick your ass.  I proceed to the window to look outside to see what the weather will be like today.  I open the windows because it will be hot today and I don’t have air conditioning.  I go to the kitchen to get some fresh fruit and vegetables grown by me on my own property.  No pesticides or herbicides to was off and no stickers to peel off.  I get in my crappy old SUV with 270,000 miles on it which in no way could pass any NHTSA safety measures.  Blue smoke wafts along behind me as I work my way down our county road with no speed limit.  I unfortunately reach the highway and must now conform to the rules of the road.  Make no mistake; if there were no highway I would still make it into work, I do have 4wd.  I stop at the gas station to get as much carbon polluting fuel as I can afford.  I also stop at my bank (which is locally owned and operated) and get cash because I don’t use credit cards.  My final stop before work is to drop of my daughter at a private Catholic school.

After work I drive my carbon exhaling monster home wishing along the way that I could just take a short-cut through the corn fields.  There aren’t really any building codes where I live nor are there any police officers.  If I see something wrong at my neighbors as I pass, I will stop to help them.  For dinner I might fix up some beef from the neighbors cows, or make some eggs from the other neighbors chickens.

And then yes, I will log into the Internet which I receive from the local privately owned telephone company.  And I WILL without a doubt bring up FoxNews.com and then bring up USAWatchmen.com and tell everyone how SOCIALISM in medicine is BAD!

Yes Socialism is everywhere, and we have far too many social programs.  People have become dependant on the Government because that is what they want and you don’t even realize it.  But don't ever forget that only in America are we still allowed the opportunity to Excel or Fail.  We have the right to have private property with our own water, heat and electricity and drive a crappy gas guzzling vehicle.  We have the right to grow our own food, keep it for ourselves, and eat it.  We have the right to send our kids to private schools, and choose what bank we use.  We also have a responsibility to look out for our neighbors and help them when they are in need.

I received an email today that included a nice little story relating to the health care bill.  Probably not a true story but still very clever and a fun read.  I thought that it could use a little more detail and information to truely make it fit what is going on.  So I've included my version below the original.  Let me know what you think.

Your lunch price will be increased 10 cents per day, and that 10 cents will be going towards the ice cream fund.  You also will NOT be receiving any ice cream until the next school year.  During this time Olivia and the teachers will be negotiating with the evil ice cream companies.  The ice cream companies will be told what ingredients to use and how much they will pay the farmer for milk.  Of course the farmer will be getting less money for his milk but he wants the business so he has no choice but to agree to the terms.  The next year rolls around and sure enough Olivia’s classroom gets ice cream every day.  But now all the classrooms want ice cream, so they are also told to bring in an extra 10 cents per day.  Olivia and the teachers now have the brilliant idea that they will raise their own cows and make their own ice cream out on the playground.  They will only make vanilla but they can now make enough ice cream for the whole school and they are not concerned with profit so if some kids can’t afford the 10 cents that is fine because they will be collecting 20 cents per day from the rich kids.  

After 10 years all the schools have evolved into one big network of ice cream making madness and of course the ice cream companies have gone out of business.  The farmers now work for the schools tending to the cows.

So what if Charlie wants chocolate ice cream?  Sorry Charlie!

What if Amy and Peter don’t want any ice cream at all?  Sorry you are required by law to take the ice cream!

What if Molly wants to bring in her own ice cream?  She can bring in vanilla ice cream.  It is against the law for her to bring any other flavor.
