Mr. Obama was stepping up his rhetoric today, inflating health care figures, and lashing out at Conservatives.  Preaching before a crowd in Pennsylvania Mr. Obama claimed that the Democrats health care proposal would cut deficits by $1 trillion over the next decade.  Wow, what is he smoking?  Because I'd sure like to know what the heck he is talking about.  The CBO estimated the bill would save $132 billion from 2010 to 2019... Oops, what's another $868 million.  Or maybe he's talking about all the extra taxes and fines hidden between the lines.

Mr. Obama was also slinging mud at the Republicans for not acting on Health Care in the last decade.  "You had 10 years. What happened?" he said.  Oh I don't know, I seem to recall something about terrorists and airplanes and death.  You know that war he supported and then didn't support.  George W. and the GOP were also trying to fix Social Security and lower our taxes.  Which of course is just the opposite of what Obama wants to do.

And finally it just wouldn't be right unless the insurance companies get thrown under the bus.  Mr. Obama argued that insurance companies figure that they can afford to price out some customers, because "There is so little competition".  He continued on to say... "The insurance companies continue to ration health care based on who's sick, who's healthy," and "These insurance companies have made a calculation.".  Yes insurance companies are having to raise their rates in many areas.  This is what happens when their costs up.  Instead of painting them as evil why can't we come up with a real health care reform package that increases competition, gets the greedy malpractice lawyers out of the picture and lower overall costs.  Mr. Obama needs to stop acting like Hugo Chavez or else we're in real trouble.  Not all private companies are evil and the Government is NOT the solution to everything.
