87 Senators signed a letter addressed to President Obama affirming their support for Israel.

Led by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and signed by 85 other members of the upper chamber, the letter claims that Israel's blockade of Gaza was both legal and necessary, and that Israeli commandos were acting in self-defense when they landed on the ship.

There was also a similar letter from the House Of Representatives with somewhere between 307 and 333 signatures. I have not found any hard evidence of this yet, but I will update this post when it becomes available.
