I know there are many people that do not like Glenn Beck, or maybe they are afraid of what he is saying and doing.  Then on the other side of the coin I know there are people that take him way too seriously, and take what he says out of context.  I do like Glenn, and I think he is both entertaining and inspiring.  I’m also not a bandwagon Glenn Beck fan, because I have been listening to his radio show for about 4 years now.  I think that Glenn has come to the forefront just at the right time, and he is someone that the Conservative party, and America needs right now.  With all of the Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/Socialists trying to pull our country down and destroy our Republic, we need some strong willed people that will speak up like Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity.

Glenn has gone to great lengths to put together two huge events this week in Washington D.C.  The 8/28/2010 Restoring Honor Rally, and 8/27/2010 America’s Divine Destiny.  I wish that I had the time or the means to be able to attend, but unfortunately that’s not going to happen.  So I hope that some of you reading this will be able to attend and can come back here to comment on your experience.  I will be praying for a peaceful, historic turnout and I hope that you will join me in sending a few prayers as well.  God Bless Glenn, his staff, and everyone that will be in attendance.

Here is some information pertaining to both events:

America’s Divine Destiny

Join Glenn Beck for an inspiring look at the role faith played in the founding of America and the role it will play again in its destiny. The audience for the event will be overwhelmingly made up of pastors, ministers and clergy: a modern day Black Robe Regimen. Tickets will be made available to the general public at no cost.

So, if you are sick and tired of hearing about how divided America has become, then join us for an eye-opening evening at the historic Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on Friday, August 27 that will help heal your soul. Guided by uplifting music, nationally-known religious figures from all faiths will unite to deliver messages reminiscent to those given during the struggles of America's earliest days. The event will leave you with a renewed determination to look past the partisan differences and petty problems that fill our airwaves and instead focus our shared values, principles and strong belief that faith can play an essential role in reuniting the country.

Restoring Honor Rally

Throughout history America has seen many great leaders and noteworthy citizens change her course. It is through their personal virtues and by their example that we are able to live as a free people. On August 28, come celebrate America by honoring our heroes, our heritage and our future.

Join the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and many more for this non-political event that pays tribute to America’s service personnel and other upstanding citizens who embody our nation’s founding principles of integrity, truth and honor.

Our freedom is possible only if we remain virtuous. Help us restore the values that founded this great nation. On August, 28th, come join us in our pledge to restore honor at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC.
